Andrews Ales cider apples
Andrews Ales cider press
Our self-built pneumatic cider press

Our cider is named after the novel "Redgauntlet" by Sir Walter Scott, set in our region.

We are a small scale producer making up to 2500 litres, but this heavily depends on how good or bad the harvest is!! All our apples come from within 15 miles of our home. In keeping with our artisan methods, we use a cider press which we built ourselves.

Our cider is produced without the use of Sulphites, it`s available in 500ml bottles, as well as 5, 10 or 20L bag-in-box packages, or in firkins (9 gallons).

We produce still cider only as this is what we like to drink ourselves!

We also sell fresh pressed apple juice in the pressing season (late September to December), bottled without additives.
